Creating our Product
We decided to create a design that says, "Mom and Dad hooked a good one." First, I tried to create a logo on Word. After several attempts, I called my father-in-law. He has worked in the t-shirt business and is very familiar with the process of printing and selling clothing. He helped us to create a design that we liked. My father-in-law then put us in touch with a wholesale t-shirt company where we found the onesies offered at a decent price. We purchased the onesies and then took them to a printing company to get them printed.
Once we received our completed product, we then had to determine how we would individually package each item. Packaging is very important when selling products because it is the customers first impression of the item and company. I found a package of 100 clear, resealable bags that were the perfect size for our onesies. I carefully folded up each onesie and placed them in their own individual bag. This took much more time than anticipated but I was very happy with the overall product.
